Man Arrested for Shocking Animal Cruelty Accusations Involving 32 Dogs Reportedly Living in Deplorable Conditions

Authorities in western Kentucky have apprehended a local man, David Howery, in connection with a disturbing animal cruelty and torture investigation that has shocked the community. As of April 5, 2023, the 66-year-old Howery is in custody after a search warrant was executed at his residence located on Woodville Road in West Paducah.

During the investigation, law enforcement officials reportedly discovered 18 dogs confined within the home, living in atrocious conditions. Reports suggest that the animals were stacked in crates from floor to ceiling, with some defecating and urinating onto those below them. The environment has reportedly been described as being heavily infested with fleas and rodents, raising significant concern for the health and welfare of the residing animals.
